The Dechaines :: Family

Getting invited into an inner circle of a family, even just for a short time like an afternoon, you really get to see its inner workings. It's true- families come in every shape and size imaginable. But it's also true that each family loves very differently. There's some that proclaim their love much louder than others. The beautiful thing in either case though is their love is always felt and is the bond that holds the family together. 

The Dechaine family invited us out for an afternoon a little bit ago. The forecast was calling for wind, but I never thought THAT much wind. After a quick location change, they took us out to Haying in the 30's. I've never been out there so it was a treat to say the least…and a photographer's dream. All the old buildings, all the greenery, and all those smiling kids! It was a beautiful afternoon.

Thank you so much Dechaine family. You were such a blast to spend the afternoon with and to see how much you love one another. It's so beautiful to see that all though you all have families of your own, you still come together and celebrate your family. Your love is loud and undeniable. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of capturing this moment of your life together. It's a gift that I treasure!
