This blog post has been a long time coming. I second shot my first wedding for a good friend, Lana and Poncho last month. I have to admit that there was a lot of nervousness (perhaps there were even a few tears shed the morning of the wedding before we left to shoot...shhhh, don't tell!!). But I've decided to finally bite the bullet and post some photos.
The day was beautiful. The weather started out a bit questionable but of course turned out just perfect. We ran a bit late, but it was well worth it. Of course Lana looked gorgeous and Poncho was proud to be able to call Lana his wife. And that surprise message from your grandma Lana?! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house!!
Lana and Poncho, I can't thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your day. Janice, I don't know if you'll ever know how much you taught me on one day. I walked away feeling like I just had a crash course on wedding photography! :) Brandi, thank you so much for coming along and assisting Janice and I...I'm not sure what we would have done without you!
And on a side note, I am so very excited to be able to say over the next two weeks, I will be working with some incredible families in Slave Lake that have been affected by the wildfires. Stay tuned to see photos from those sessions! :)
