Something Beautiful :: The Stahl Family

Having sisters is something that I really wish every girl could experience at least once. It's something that is so hard to describe, and I don't think...no, I know you don't really appreciate it until you're an adult. Growing up with two older sisters, we fought constantly. But now, even though we can still voice our own opinions and don't have a problem to disagree, we can also spend time together and really enjoy it.

I was able to look into this world a bit further when my good friend Andrea (you might remember her from her own shoot with her husband Ben)asked me to come and hang out with her and her family for a little bit one gloriously beautiful Sunday. They too have 3 girls and it's so nice and special to see that sisterly bond come out in front of the camera. 

Kurt and Lil, you've raised a wonderful family. Thank you for instilling in your girls a passion for life, hardwork and love. Shauna, Nathan, Hannah, Alyssa, and Jared, Andrea and Ben, and Desarie and Daniel, thank you so much for celebrating Mother's Day on a weekend I was free. hahaha. No in all honesty, you guys are wonderful. You welcome people into your lives and make them feel at home.

Count on Me :: Nathan, Jacey and Kids

This posting will mark the third installment devoted to my lovely cousins. A few months ago I was able to do some maternity and family photos before they welcomed baby Finn, and then once he made his arrival we couldn't resist doing some of just him and his parents. So it was a natural progression to meet up and do some of all the kids and Nathan and Jacey. 


I've said it before and I'll say it again. I adore this big little family. They all have truly made our family richer. Thank you so much (again) for allowing me to document your growing family and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. I have no doubt it's gonna be so bright, you'll need to buy sunglasses in bulk.

Here Comes the Sun :: Janice and Boys

Gosh, it was so hard to just choose a few photos to post from this session! 

Janice had asked me to take some photos of her and her boys in correlation with her Mother's Day sessions she was offering. If you're not familiar with Janice's work...you should be! And I think was is even more endearing is the fact that as successful and talented that she is, she is just as humble, down to earth and so sweet. Janice has helped me out so much with getting off the ground and showing me the ropes of the photography world. I honestly cannot say thank you enough to her for everything she has done for me! :)
