Living in a small town, you find that you will first know a person in one aspect of your life, and before you know it, that one connection mulitiplies and soon you're looking at a spider web of connections.
In high school, Lana and I were in some of the same classes and were members of the same clubs...including Theatre Appreciation Group. Yup, I'm a 'Drama Geek'...thankfully this isn't about me though...after we graduated she actually moved in with my older sister for quite some time. When my parents moved up north, I moved in with my sister...right next door to where Lana was living with Poncho. We became friends and before I knew it, instead of just being on their Christmas card list, I was making them with Lana. :)
It was a pleasure to be asked to help out with their engagement photos. The day was incredibly windy but the happy couple grinned their way through click after click. It was also a treat for me to work with two great girls. Janice from Precious Pictures Photography, you can see her work here, and Ashley who I don't doubt will become very busy very quickly. It was an interesting mix of styles, and I can't wait to see everyone's finished products.
Lana and Poncho's wedding day is next month and I can't wait to see what life has in store for them...thank you for the honour of working with you two. Your big day is going to be a blast!!
Here's a peak from their engagement session. Enjoy!!
